How we calculate it, and sources
The average of the district’s neighbourhoods weighted by their addresses in it. Rent without services and energy for an unfurnished flat older than 5 years in good condition, from rental offers. Monthly = price per m² × the usual size of rented flats in Prague.

Transport

There’s no metro station here.
Trams, buses, night lines and trains
How we calculate it, and sources
A typical trip from an address in the district: walk to the best stop and on by public transport arriving at Můstek between 7:30 and 8:30, without waiting for the first connection. Calculated from the PID timetables.
At night we calculate the trip from Lazarská (where the night trams meet) leaving between 0:30 and 1:30 on a weeknight, including waiting for the connection (night lines run every 20 to 30 minutes) and the walk home. The metro doesn’t run at night.

How we calculate it, and sources
We count places from OpenStreetMap and the share of addresses with at least one such place within 500 m as the crow flies (about 6 minutes on foot). OpenStreetMap is filled in by volunteers, small shops and new businesses may be missing.

Greenery and noise
Details
We take the noise at the loudest point within 20 m of the address, usually the street-facing façade. The legal limit for road noise is 55 dB by day and 45 dB at night, 60 and 50 dB along main roads.

Crime
By type, and how we count
| Cases | Per 1,000 residents | |

| Violent crime | 0 | 0.0 · Prague 1.1 |
| Burglary of flats and houses | 1 | 1.3 · Prague 0.6 |
| Burglary overall | 1 | 1.3 · Prague 3.2 |
| Theft of and from vehicles | 0 | 0.0 · Prague 2.7 |
| Bicycle theft | 0 | 0.0 · Prague 0.4 |
| Pickpocketing | 0 | 0.0 · Prague 2.1 |
| Drug crime | 0 | 0.0 · Prague 0.8 |
| Offences against public order and coexistence | 0 | 0.0 · Prague 6.0 |
We count crimes and offences recorded by the police, without acts that didn’t happen or aren’t punishable. We leave out fraud and economic crime, which the police record where they are reported. The location is blurred to the centre of a small area. In the centre, near stations and big shopping centres visitors and commuters push the numbers up; in small districts a few cases make a big difference.

How we calculate it, and sources
A private practice doesn’t mean paid care: most have contracts with the health insurance companies. The register doesn’t say which practices have a contract with your insurer, check with the practice or the insurer.
We count the places where care is provided (practice, polyclinic, hospital), not individual doctors. Paediatricians are counted per 1,000 children under 15.
