Where to live in Brno: districts, schools and rents
Městomat for Brno is on the way. As for Prague, we will compare all 29 city districts: rents, the way to the centre by day and night, quiet and greenery, schools and kindergartens, doctors, shops and locals’ experience.
Brno is the second largest city in Czechia, with about 400,000 residents plus tens of thousands of students of Masaryk University, Brno University of Technology, Mendel University and other schools. It has 29 city districts: from the dense centre of Brno-střed through popular Žabovřesky and Královo Pole to large housing estates such as Líšeň, Bystrc or Starý Lískovec and small districts on the edge such as Ořešín, Útěchov or Kníničky.
Where to live depends on what you look for: a tram to the centre in a few minutes, quiet by the Brno Reservoir, or a kindergarten round the corner. That is what we want to show in numbers, for each neighbourhood, from open data and from the people who live there.
