Why Městomat
Moving means dozens of questions at once: what the rent will be, how long the commute takes, whether the street is quiet, which school the children will go to and whether a doctor nearby takes new patients. The answers are scattered across offices, maps and forums. Městomat puts them in one place, for each neighbourhood.
What you’ll find here
For every neighbourhood and city district: rents by flat size, the journey to the centre by day and night, noise, greenery, shops and services, schools and nurseries with catchments by address, doctors with their insurance contracts, safety and residents’ reviews. Plus guides, rankings and neighbourhood comparisons.
Where the data comes from
From public registers and the open data of the state, Prague and the transport operators, which we download regularly and automatically, and from the residents who review their neighbourhood here. Each figure names its source and the date of its last update.
Free and independent
Everything on Městomat is free and there are no paid placements: nobody can buy a neighbourhood’s or a school’s rank. Reviews are moderated by published rules and only those from real people are shown.
