For partners: data on neighbourhoods and schools for your readers and clients
Městomat turns data and the experience of locals into overviews of neighbourhoods, schools and kindergartens. We are happy to share them with local papers, relocation services, portals and city districts. Today Prague and Bratislava (mestomat.sk), Brno, Ostrava and Košice are on the way.
What we offer
Numbers for your article
Rents, noise, transport, schools and kindergartens, doctors or safety per neighbourhood or district. We send the figures and explain where they come from.
A data story made for you
For example the quietest streets of your district or where families have the nearest kindergarten. We prepare it from the data, you publish it.
Links both ways
For relocation and expat services: a neighbourhood guide in Czech and English to send your clients to, and a link back to you.
A widget for your site (in preparation)
A small overview of a neighbourhood or school to embed in your site, updating itself. Tell us what you would need.
Who it is for
- Local and district papers: numbers and stories about your district that readers care about
- Relocation and expat services: an overview of neighbourhoods and schools for clients who move
- Property and rental portals: context for listings (schools, noise, transport); data exchange by agreement
- Schools, kindergartens and parent groups: parent reviews and register data in one place
- City districts and municipalities: how neighbourhoods compare with their surroundings
What data we have
School and doctor registers, inspection reports, RÚIAN addresses, population from the Czech Statistical Office, noise maps, timetables, greenery, shops and services from OpenStreetMap, plus reviews by residents and parents.
How it works
- Figures, links and data stories are free.
- Just credit “Městomat.cz” with a link to the page in question.
- We never pass on visitors’ personal data, and share reviews only as published.
Neighbourhood badge for your listing
Renting out or selling a flat? Add the neighbourhood badge to your listing: it shows who the neighbourhood suits best (scores 0–100 for families, without a car, seniors and more) and links to all its figures. It updates itself.
A neighbourhood widget for your website
Writing about housing, running a property site, a blog or a local association’s pages? Embed a neighbourhood card: locals’ rating and five main figures (rent, way to the centre, noise, greenery…) compared with Prague, always current.
A widget for a school’s website
From a school or kindergarten? Put your card on your website: type, address, founder, capacity and parents’ rating, linking to the catchment area. The code is behind “Widget for the school’s website” on your school’s page.
