Frequently asked questions

How much does an address check cost?

Nothing. The check is free and needs no registration, for every address in Prague.

Where does the data come from?

From open data: addresses from RÚIAN (ČÚZK), noise, greenery, flood and parking zones from IPR Praha, PID timetables, doctors from the NRPZS register, shops, named parks, main roads and tracks from OpenStreetMap and school catchments from the districts’ ordinances.

How precise is the noise at an address?

We take the loudest point within 20 metres of the address, usually the street-facing façade. Flats facing the courtyard tend to be much quieter.

What does the comparison with other addresses in the neighbourhood mean?

We compare noise, the distance to greenery and the trip to the centre with every address in the same neighbourhood. You might see, for example, that a house is quieter than 80 % of addresses in Karlín.
