Královo Pole
A busy neighbourhood along Palackého třída with a tram to the centre, Královo Pole railway station and the Brno University of Technology campus around Technická and Božetěchova streets. Lots of students, shops, restaurants and services, with quieter streets of apartment blocks and family houses on the slopes towards Medlánky and Ponava. It suits people who want everything around them and the faculties close by.
Žabovřesky
A neighbourhood between the Svratka, Wilson Forest and Kraví hora: Art Nouveau and functionalist villas, apartment blocks around Minská and Žabovřeská streets and plenty of green space within walking distance. A tram takes you to the centre, and Wilson Forest is a walk away. It suits families and people who want a calmer street without living on the edge of the city.
