Líšeň

The eastern edge of Brno: a 1980s housing estate, the original village around Holzova street and new development. Hády, Mariánské údolí and the Říčka valley start behind the houses, and a tram takes you to the centre. It suits people who work on the eastern side of the city or often head towards Vyškov and Olomouc.

Bystrc

The western edge of Brno by the Brno Reservoir: a housing estate, the old centre by the church, cottage areas and the Podkomorské forests. A tram runs to the centre, and in season boats sail on the reservoir. It suits people who want woods and water behind the house and work on the western side of the city.

Which to choose

  • Where you commute decides: compare the trip from specific addresses with the address check or by comparing two addresses.
  • You come home late: the row with the night trip from the centre.
  • You have children: the rows with schools and playgrounds, and the catchment school of the exact address.
  • You want woods and water: the rows with parks and woods, and the guide to Brno's green neighbourhoods.
