The Prague metro: map and living near the stations
The Prague metro has three lines and 58 stations. Here is our map and, for every station, what you need to know when looking for a home: which neighbourhood it is in, how far it is to the centre and what rents are like there.
Metro map
Line A (green) runs from Nemocnice Motol through the centre to Hostivař, line B (yellow) from Zličín to Černý Most and line C (red) from Letňany to Háje. We drew the map from the stations' real positions; the centre is stretched so the names stay readable. On a phone, open it full screen and pinch to zoom.

Living near the metro
A metro station within ten minutes' walk is the first requirement for many people looking for a flat. For each station above you can see the neighbourhood, how many minutes it takes to reach the centre on a weekday morning and the rent for a 2+kk (two rooms plus a kitchenette) across the neighbourhood. Click the neighbourhood to see noise, green space, schools and residents' reviews too.
Interested in a particular flat? Enter its address: we will show the nearest metro station and how many minutes' walk it is.
The metro and the night
The metro runs until roughly midnight. If you come home late, you take a night tram or bus; for every neighbourhood we show how long that takes from the city centre.
Line D
Construction of line D from Pankrác to the south of Prague is already under way. Once it is finished we will add it to the map; until then, line C serves Pankrác.
Frequently asked questions
How many stations does the Prague metro have?
58: line A has 17 stations, line B 24 and line C 20. The interchange stations Můstek, Muzeum and Florenc belong to two lines but are counted once in the total.
Where can I change lines on the metro?
At three stations in the centre: Můstek (lines A and B), Muzeum (A and C) and Florenc (B and C).
When does the metro run?
From roughly five in the morning until midnight, every two to three minutes at peak times. At night, night trams and buses run instead of the metro.
Which metro stations are step-free?
In the list of stations below, step-free stations are marked with a wheelchair symbol. The data come from Prague Integrated Transport (PID) and we update them with the timetables.
Where can I live near the metro for less?
For every station in the list below you will find the rent for a 2+kk (two rooms plus a kitchenette) in the neighbourhood where the station is. It is usually cheaper at the ends of the lines, but the journey to the centre is longer: weigh the rent against the minutes to the centre.
