Vršovice

Tenement blocks around Krymská and Kodaňská streets, with Grébovka park and the Bohemians football ground round the corner. Locals have a park closer to the door than in Žižkov and get home faster at night. The busy parts are the main roads such as Vršovická and the area around Praha-Vršovice station.

Žižkov

Sloping streets full of pubs and bars, with Parukářka park and Vítkov hill right behind the houses. More places to eat and drink on the street and, according to the noise maps, fewer noisy addresses, because many streets lie away from the main roads. Rent comes out slightly cheaper.

Which to choose

  • You want a park behind the house and a quick trip home at night: Vršovice.
  • You want more pubs and cafés and quieter side streets: Žižkov.
