1686 The château of the Velehrad abbots

The small Baroque château in Brněnské Ivanovice was built in 1682–1686, probably by rebuilding an older fort. It was the estate’s administrative seat and a residence of the abbots of the Cistercian monastery at Velehrad, which had owned Ivanovice since the 13th century.
