Where cycling is easiest in Brno

Most addresses with a busy bike route within 300 m: Zábrdovice (99 % of addresses near a bike route), then Brno-město and Ponava. In half of the neighbourhoods it is under 52 %. 36 neighbourhoods ranked by cyclists’ trips.

How we calculate it

The share of addresses in the neighbourhood with a busy bike route within 300 metres: a section of street, cycle path or footbridge with at least 200 trips in the May Bike to Work challenge (Do práce na kole). It shows where people actually ride, not just where a lane is painted.

Without neighbourhoods with fewer than 2 000 residents: they are mostly fields or forest, and a handful of addresses would otherwise top every ranking. You’ll find them in the list of all neighbourhoods.
