Did you know?
On the western edge of Holásky lies a chain of lakes with flowing water, now a protected natural monument. Two small ponds are probably what remains of an old meander of the Svitava; the largest lake, Opleta, was only dug in 1974 at the local anglers’ initiative. They are protected for their amphibians and nesting birds.
