Ostrava neighbourhoods with the newest houses

Most homes completed after 1990: Bělský Les (69 % of homes after 1990), then Nová Bělá and Krásné Pole. In half of the neighbourhoods it is under 29 %. Ranking of 24 neighbourhoods by the building register.

How we calculate it

The share of homes (blocks of flats and family houses) completed after 1990 by the official building register; each house once, only neighbourhoods with at least 20 houses with a known year.

Without neighbourhoods with fewer than 2 000 residents: they are mostly fields or forest, and a handful of addresses would otherwise top every ranking. You’ll find them in the list of all neighbourhoods.
