1935 St Augustine’s in the Masaryk quarter

The functionalist church on náměstí Míru was built in 1932–1935 to a design by the architect Vladimír Fischer. It stands in the middle of the Masaryk quarter, in the saddle between Kraví hora and Žlutý kopec; the quarter grew fast between the wars and needed its own church.
