In Praha 8, 1,983 new flats were completed in 2022–2024.

Of these, 1,511 in new apartment blocks and 34 in new family houses; the rest are extensions and conversions. A figure for the whole district; ČSÚ gives none for smaller areas.

The Metropolitan Plan (in force since September 2026) expects change on 12 areas here. 17.5 ha may be built on (7 % of the area), 16.5 ha of it for housing.

In preparation Prague ring road, Ruzyně – Suchdol – Březiněves due 2030
The northern part of the ring road with a new bridge over the Vltava near Suchdol, about 15 km in all. It has a favourable EIA statement and the permit documentation is being prepared. In September 2024 ŘSD expected construction from 2027 and opening in 2030.
