The Metropolitan Plan (in force since September 2026) allows the most new homes here: Vysočany (196.7 ha for new homes), then Horní Počernice and Letňany. Ranking of 85 neighbourhoods.

How we calculate it

The area of redevelopment and development land that Prague’s Metropolitan Plan (in force since September 2026) allows to be built on and sets aside for housing; each area belongs to the neighbourhood its centre lies in.

Without neighbourhoods with fewer than 2 000 residents: they are mostly fields or forest, and a handful of addresses would otherwise top every ranking. You’ll find them in the list of all neighbourhoods.
