The Metropolitan Plan (in force since September 2026) expects change on 17 areas here. 38.6 ha may be built on (5 % of the area), 38.0 ha of it for housing.

In preparation New primary school Smíchov City due 2030
A school for 580 children in the new neighbourhood on the former freight station. The city has taken over the project; the Prague 5 mayor expects it to open by 2030.

A primary school returns to the building: part of it serves pupils from the 2026/27 school year, the full school from September 2028.

Under construction Tram Malovanka – Strahov due 2028
A new tram line of about 1.3 km from Bělohorská along the whole of Vaníčkova street to Strahov. Stops Malovanka, Koleje Strahov and Strahov; trial service with passengers in mid-2028.
